Technology is an entity which is designed to make our life easy & comfortable is known as technology. On the venture of time, technology can be classified on two categories:

- Traditional Technology

- Modern Technology

So we all know that we can't live without technology because it has lots of importance in our life. But due to the overdependence on technology has created serious health problems, mental issues & social issues in the society & nation. 

For eg : Ram is a student, he comes from the school & plays games, browses social media for 3 hours. On the other hand, Ramesh is a student, he comes from the school & joins the yoga class. He also sees mobile phones if he needs to. Here in this case, Ram will face serious health & mental problems soon. As he is very involved with mobile & technology. Below, we will discuss how technology has become a curse for the individuals.

Due to increase in the technology, people have engaged more in mobile, computers and laptops for playing online games, social media browsing & many more.  Due to the incensement, serious health problems have been seen. Some of the health issue seen are:

- Physical Health Problems

- Mental Health Problems

- Social/Society Problems

Technologies, such as social media, are designed to bring people together, yet they may have the opposite effect in some cases.

A 2017study in young adults aged 19–32 years found that people with higher social media use were more than three times as likely to feel socially isolated than those who did not use social media as often.

Depression and anxiety

The authors of a 2016 systematic review Trusted Source discussed the link between social networks and mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety.

Their research found mixed results. People who had more positive interactions and social support on these platforms appeared to have lower levels of depression and anxiety.

However, the reverse was also true. People who perceived that they had more negative social interactions online and who were more prone to social comparison experienced higher levels of depression and anxiety.
